My wife had a Hawaiian style grilled cheese sandwich and a tomato bisque that she liked equally well. The grilled cheese came out perfectly toasted...I actually thought to myself, "That's beautiful!". I tasted the bisque and it ranks high amongst any I have eaten.
A frequent Sat. Morning bicycle destination. Great breakfasts. We have only done dinner a few times because of the distance from home, but the food was good and the music was great! And a fun bit of hippie nostalgia, too!
Bottom line is this...these are friendly people that love to cook. You can see (and taste) the attention to detail. So, if you are hungry after a day of kayaking out on Stone Lick Lake, take the short detour to have some lunch at this fine establishment...you won't be disappointed.

Tonight the town population has doubled. Every Saturday is like a special holiday to the owners of the restaurant. Is a prepare for the evening it's like they're expecting company to come over. That's exact feel you get when you go.
I've loved this place ever since John and Vicki opened. You can hear some of the best music around, and the food is outstanding. Be aware that when popular bands are on the bill you should plan an early arrival
The pulled-chicken barbecue sandwich is better than most I have ever eaten at establishments holding themselves out to be dedicated to BBQ; the portion of chicken is generous, tender, but not overcooked. The sauce itself is tasty, but not overwhelming the chicken. This delectable combination was served on a very nice Brioche bun and not a cheap piece of bread full of air.
