We went kayaking on this electric motor only lake. Makes it wonderful to paddle. The late summer native wildflowers were in bloom. Beautiful! Also there are many varieties of birds. We saw people enjoying fishing.
Had lots of family reunions and get together lots of fun camping with Diane Tucker and family love it when it was taken care of
Not a bad state park. Has camp ground for campers and primitive camping. Showers and bathrooms. Nice hiking trails through the woods. I wouldn't swim in the water but does have a beach area isn't bad to hang out. Picnic shelters with grills. Plenty of parking as well.
Fun place to go to picnic and grill out. Offers camping too. Beach is not clean.
Great state park with excellent hiking trails and well maintained bathrooms.
Before leaving the park we checked out the campground. There we met super great camping hosts who were willing to show us around and answer questions. Friendly and helpful to campers, these hosts help the park staff to make this a nice family State Park. Everyone, keep up the good work. The public does appreciate you!
